When Timberwolf set about making rope leads 30 years ago, there was literally one other mountain climbing rope dog lead on the market. It was manufactured overseas, limited to 3-4 color combinations, had large awkward metal terminations and had no other matching accessories. In over three decades in the pet business, Timberwolf has pioneered many improvements to that rudimentary rope leash. We developed and implemented our own unique cord binding to replace that large metal termination, added a custom, in-house manufactured, EPDM cushioned grip handle, increased the braid count to 48, developed our own proprietary flat braid material for collars and harnesses, vastly improved color choices and, ultimately, developed a full range of matching braided accessories to go with that leash. While the market has changed and there is a lot more competition, our product designs and improvements have stood the test of time and you will not find a another range of braided pet accessories that exude the quality and craftmanship of our products…all made right here in Colorado!
