Alpine Quick-Hitch Leads

The Alpine Quik-Hitch is our take on the classic working dog slip lead. This type of leash is used by show dog owners, agility contestants, kennel workers, hunters, etc. For ease of taking your dog on and off lead easily and quickly, or when you need your dog to move unhindered without a collar, the Quik-Hitch lead can’t be beat. Basically, it is the same build as our best-selling Alpine Lead but instead of a bolt snap on the end, we have fashioned a choke (slip) collar in place of the bolt snap.  To keep the collar from opening too much you need a stopper to limit ring travel while in use. We make our own stoppers here at Timberwolf the traditional way from medium weight Latigo Leather (6-8 oz) to provide the proper fit and finish this lead should have.  Available in two rope thicknesses, 7/16” (about ½”) for larger dogs (over 50lbs) and 5/16” (just over a ¼”) for dogs under 50lbs, two lengths (66” & 42”) and in 19 different colors and patterns
